La Famiglia
L’immagine della famiglia è qui rappresentata da un tavolo, simbolo di un momentocondiviso di vita quotidiana. Le sedie sono però, al contrario della realtà, inserite inun foro del tavolo stesso e non intorno, e rivolte verso l’esterno. Questa curiosacomposizione vuole rappresentare il momento importante e contraddittorio dellafamiglia quale primo nucleo della società, prima occasione di educazione e discambio, ma anche luogo a volte di castigo e costrizione. Un luogo dove è bello stare,ma anche un luogo di regole e comportamenti, gerarchie, fughe e ritorni: traccia dellatradizione e trampolino per una partenza verso un futuro in autonomia.

The Family
The image of the family is represented here by a table, symbol of a moment of sharingin daily life. The chairs are, however, inserted in a hole of the table and not around itand they are facing outwards. This curious composition is meant to represent theimportant and contradictory moment of the family as the first core of society, the firstoccasion for education and exchange, but also as a place – at times – of punishmentand constraint. The family is where it is nice to stay, but also where rules andbehaviours, hierarchies, escapes and returns take place. The family follows thefootsteps of tradition and at the same time is a springboard for a departure towards afuture of independent living.
