I’d like to comment the Literary Galtellì Week and Prize through the words written by some of our guests. I’m going to use an anonymous form for obvious reasons of privacy. I think that these comments are self-explanatory and don’t require any add-on; and that the images shown in the attached gallery are self-evident too.
Enjoy them and plan your next trip to Sardinia!
a) … Wanted to thank you again for one of the most wonderful weeks I’ve known. Being in Galtellì, meeting so many warm and welcoming people, has been like a dream from which I wish not to wake too soon… I’m very delighted to have been a part of it…
b) … Thank you again for the full and wonderful week in Sardinia… I have been so struck by the landscape of the country – the intense, rugged mountainous land, the sawtooth ridgelines and the cliffs to the sea. So very beautiful and quite intense. I’ve had also the chance to meet so many extraordinary people, whose dedication to their homeland and to one another is quite moving…
c) … I find myself talking incessantly about the week in Sardinia, and about Sardinia and Sardinians in general…
d) … I’m finally beginning to settle back into my life, gradually, though Non Potho Reposare is still in my head constantly (and sometimes Nanneddu Meu)…
e) … It is no exaggeration to say that the marvellous week in Sardinia is making it very hard for me to settle back into my usual life… I feel like Sardinia has entered my blood and I don’t know what to do about it…

g) … I’ve been your guest for this marvellous week in Galtellì… There were so many events, so many excursions around the glorious island of Sardegna, so many fabulous meals with the warm and welcoming people of Galtellì and environs…
h) …The hotel, the rooms and courtyard were lovely, everything nice, clean, comfortable…
i) … Thank you so much for the wonderful Sardinian experience… The last evening with the choir and the dancing was very touching…
j) … I really was just delighted at everything, and it was thrilling to be driven to a house somewhere to find another terrific meal waiting for us – the ‘literary’ meal, taken from Deledda’s work, or the meal with the a tenore singers…k) … The whole experience will stay with me the rest of my life, and I am so honoured to have been a part of it…
l) … Etc.
